Preparing Our Next Release

We are spending this entire weekend preparing for our upcoming release. As any small business owner knows, that means all hands on deck, including the kids. Luckily, we had our first basball-free weekend, allowing us to focus on what still needed to be done.

That means getting all of the wines out of storage - 66 cases of Aligoté and 73 cases of Gamay Noir. Unpacking the boxes. Melting the wax. waxing the tops of the bottles. Letting them cool. Re-packing all of the boxes. Stacking them back on the palates. That’s a lot of work for a small group - 3 adults and 2 small children. But we managed to get it all done.

We anticipate having the wines ready for our big release in mid-June, so stay tuned. In the meantime, the finished bottles are all packed away and waiting for us to complete all of the administrative tasks to finalize everything so we can get these wines out the door to our customers.
