Concinnitas Farm Wines
Concinnitas Farm was built from the ground up. A composition in perfect harmony with a natural landscape millions of years in the making. Every variety and clone, every block placement, every decision in the cellar was made in service of a place that is defined by its Roman amphitheater-shaped hillside in Oregon's Yamhill-Carlton AVA.
The portfolio that emerges is not a collection of wines so much as a coherent whole that exceeds the sum of its parts. The care taken in designing this farm is what makes the wines naturally balanced — the vineyard does the work so the cellar does not have to.
Production is small by design — a consequence of farming a single estate with total intention rather than scale. Wines are allocated to wine club members first. What remains is offered here.
Each wine has its own origin story, its own visual identity, and its own relationship to the farm's founding philosophy.
Traditional Method Sparkling Wines
Multiple parcels across the amphitheater-shaped hillside of our organically certified farm are planted for sparkling intent and blended for complexity. All base wines ferment spontaneously in barrel and receive extended aging on lees prior to tirage. We prioritize flavor, complexity and texture over overt effervescence, crafting our wines at intentionally lower pressure to emphasize minerality, phenolic shape, and length. This approach is made possible by the varietal and clonal diversity of the site, allowing for intensity and complexity without sacrificing freshness or natural acidity.
Single Varietal Still Wines
The first offerings from the farm reframe the traditional narrative of the Willamette Valley expanding its varietal set to include grapes known to maritime-influenced river valleys, such as Aligoté, Chenin Blanc and Gamay Noir. Our still wines are built for transparency, structure, and longevity—often requiring extended aging in barrel and bottle before release.
Single Vintage Blends
The wines in this collection were not designed. They were discovered. Each year, as individual fermentations complete and élevage progresses, the cellar sometimes reveals something unexpected: wines that are each excellent alone which, when tasted together, produce something neither could achieve alone. When that happens, we follow the wine. Beauty born of nature and intention in perfect accord.
Winged Eye Series
Not every vintage produces a wine in our Winged Eye series. This tier exists for the wine that that arrives, in a particular vintage from a particular part of this farm, at a level of completeness and distinction that places it in a different category from everything else the farm produces. When that happens, we will release it under this label. When it doesn't, we don't. There is no fixed variety, no annual release schedule.
